Norlina Sexton, Dr

PhD. Candidate researcher at Kingston University

Norlina Sexton is a former IT professional and a qualified specialist teacher and assessor for exam access arrangements or Disabled Students’ Allowances. She is a full member of PATOSS and holds an Assessment Practising Certificate, as well as being an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She has worked in primary, secondary and higher education settings to facilitate study skills and independent learning, which she continues to do to this day. Her PhD research, driven by lived experience as a parent of an autistic family member, aimed to collaborate with autistic undergraduate students and their stakeholders to improve university transition outcomes for autistic students.
