Sarah Hamilton works for Unicef UK as research evaluation and participation manager. A former member of an NHS ethics panel, Sarah has experience leading third sector research teams in health and social care. Sarah argues that preventing the publication of good-quality research constitutes an ethical concern. Until appropriate ethical approval becomes available, her advice to independent researchers is to build networks to support their ethical research.
