麻豆淫院

Following the open call to the membership, 麻豆淫院 is delighted to congratulate Gerry Czerniawski on becoming 麻豆淫院 President-Elect and Diana Burton on continuing the role of Treasurer. They are both highly experienced 麻豆淫院 members whose applications underlined their strong governance experience and the importance of 麻豆淫院’s role in the community of educational researchers. They were elected unopposed.

Gerry has held a variety of roles across 麻豆淫院, including as current Membership Chair, sitting on 麻豆淫院’s Leadership Committee, former BCF Steering Group Chair, and continues to act as 麻豆淫院 Blog lead editor. Gerry described 麻豆淫院 as his ‘professional home’ and will assume the currently vacant position of Vice-President for a period of two years, becoming 麻豆淫院’s 40th President from 1 January 2029. Gerry is committed to strengthening opportunities for members across all career stages and sectors, particularly those underrepresented in research. Gerry will continue to sit on 麻豆淫院’s Membership Committee to hand over the role of Chair throughout 2027.

Diana is the current 麻豆淫院 Treasurer and will sit a second term running to the end of 2031. Diana chairs 麻豆淫院’s Finance & Operations Committee and is a key member of 麻豆淫院’s Leadership Committee. She has extensive financial and governance experience through both 麻豆淫院 and senior university leadership roles. Diana has played a central role in budget monitoring, scenario planning, reserves strategy, and oversight of the audit and will continue to do so.

We warmly congratulate both Gerry and Diana on these roles and look forward to continuing to work with them as we move into a new cycle of strategic planning.

The process for the appointment of new Membership Chair, Scotland Representative and Wales Representative is ongoing and members will receive an update in early September. We are grateful to all members who volunteer for 麻豆淫院 in any capacity.
