Professor Catherine Furlong is Co-Director of CREATE – The Centre for Collaborative Research Across Teacher Education at Dublin City University, where she also serves as Chair of the BEd and MEd programmes, providing academic leadership in initial and postgraduate teacher education. She lectures in the areas of Leadership, Governance and Policy. Her research focuses on teacher education, educational leadership and the development of research-informed practice, with particular interest in strengthening collaboration between research, policy, and school and classroom practice.
