What dilemmas have you encountered when making methodological decisions in your research?
The Research Methodologies SIG invites members to join us for an informal Meet and Discuss session exploring the dilemmas and complexities of research decision-making. It was wonderful to meet so many members at conference, and we would like to continue and extend those conversations across our wider SIG community.
We know that researchers grapple with all kinds of dilemmas when developing methodologies and choosing methods. Yet, when research is written up and disseminated, these decisions and uncertainties can sometimes be left lurking in a cupboard.
This session offers a supportive and friendly space to bring those dilemmas into the open: to share them, discuss them with others, and build a more collective understanding of the challenges and complexities we encounter in our research.
If you are considering submitting a methodology paper for conference, it is also a great opportunity to share, test and develop your ideas with colleagues.
We hope to see lots of you there!
