Olivia Germaine is the Âé¶¹ÒùÔº 2026 Undergraduate Award Winner for her thesis "Facilitating or Hindering? A Survey Exploring Extrinsic Emotion Regulation and Test Anxiety among University Students in the UK and Abroad". Olivia completed her undergraduate degree in Education Studies – Psychology at Durham University and is now pursuing a Master's degree at the University of York in Mental Health and Well-being in Education. Alongside her studies, she has worked as a teaching assistant supporting students with special educational needs. Olivia is particularly passionate about applying psychological research to education to improve students' mental health and well-being.
