Dr Nicole Ponsford FCCT FIEUC is an award-winning educator, researcher and technology founder working at the intersection of equitable education, human-centred data and inclusive innovation.

She is the creator of Kaleidoscopic Dataâ„¢, an intersectional methodology developed through her doctoral research at Bournemouth University. Her work has gathered more than 35,000 voices from students, staff, leaders, parents and carers, and reached education communities across more than 30 countries.

Shortlisted for the Â鶹ÒùÔº Doctoral Thesis of the Year, named BESA Person of the Year and included in the UK’s Diversity Power List, Dr Ponsford advises the Department for Education, Ofsted and ASCL, helping to bring lived-experience evidence into national policy and practice. She is the Co-Chair for the South of the National Education Assembly.

Her work challenges reductive approaches to data and ensures that those most affected by education systems have a meaningful voice in changing them.
