Dr Muriel Grenon is a lecturer in biochemistry and science communication in the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences at the University of Galway. She is the co-founder of the Cell Explorers programme. Her current research interests are in informal science education, hands-on learning and the use of science outreach as an educational tool in schools and universities.
