Emily Pinn is a former MA Education student and currently a sabbatical officer at the University of Plymouth. Her work largely adopts the lens of social justice and inclusion in education, with a passion for incorporating student voice. Her undergraduate dissertation focused upon the lived experiences of siblings of children with life-limiting conditions, while her master’s thesis is investigating the ways in which menstrual literacy influences young people’s experience of university. She has also worked as a research assistant on numerous projects, including examining the experience of commuter students in higher education, and the availability of student-focused menopause support in universities across the UK.
