Beverley McCormick is a Lecturer of Education and the Course Director of the PGCE Primary at Ulster University. She is an active STEM ambassador having received recognition as Outstanding STEM Ambassador for Northern Ireland (2022). Her current research relates to teacher confidence and self-efficacy through STEM CPD in primary schools and the use of Lego in community cohesion. Prior to joining the university, Beverley had a successful and varied career as a primary school teacher and a global EdTech specialist. She is passionate about creating a culture of transformative learning experiences for aspiring educators through high-quality initial teacher education, effective educational leadership and integrated STEM Education.
