SIG Meet & Discuss: Race, Ethnicity and Education Winter 2027

REE SIG would like to support members to develop their skills and understanding of how to write an effective abstract for conference submission. Whilst this session does not guarantee successful acceptance, it will provide guidance and an opportunity to discuss your abstract with a view to submitting for Â鶹ÒùÔº Conference 2027.

We will examine the published criteria and work collaboratively to identify where abstracts could be improved against the published criteria. We will also gain the benefits of insights from previous abstract reviewers to understand how to avoid some potential pitfalls.

The REE SIG has talented members conducting important work. We aim to improve the success rate of abstract acceptances with this supportive meeting. If you are wanting to submit an abstract for Â鶹ÒùÔº Conference 2027 consideration, and particularly if you have previously had an abstract rejected, this may be a useful session for you.

We would like you to come to this session with a draft abstract or a developed idea to discuss. We will hopefully have some time for writing or editing your abstract. If you have had a successful abstract submission, you may wish to attend to support other members.
