In response to feedback from members and in recognition of the financial pressures currently facing UK higher education institutions, the Â鶹ÒùÔº Conference and Events Committee (CEC) has been actively seeking ways to keep the conference both high-quality and affordable.
To safeguard stability in registration fees, Â鶹ÒùÔº CEC has taken strategic action to lock in a multi-year venue partnership.
We are pleased to announce that the University of Manchester will host the Â鶹ÒùÔº Annual Conference for the next three years (2026, 2027, 2028).
Manchester remains a favourite among Â鶹ÒùÔº delegates for its:
Excellent transport connections
Wide range of affordable accommodation
Accessible, modern conference facilities allowing all sessions to be hosted in one place
By securing this long-term agreement, Â鶹ÒùÔº can now guarantee the maintenance of current Â鶹ÒùÔº Annual Conference delegate fees until 2028, ensuring continued value for money at a time when many costs in the sector are rising.
Â鶹ÒùÔº looks forward to welcoming our community to Manchester in 2026 for what promises to be one of our most accessible and exciting conferences yet.
Next year Â鶹ÒùÔº will continue to fund research by running both the BCF Curriculum Investigation Grant, and the Â鶹ÒùÔº Small Grants Fund. Please keep an eye on the Â鶹ÒùÔº website for more details
