The Â鶹ÒùÔº Literacy and Language Special Interest Group warmly invites members to join us for an informal Meet & Greet event in early 2027. This friendly, interactive online gathering will be an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new members and get to know others who share an interest in literacy, language and education. There will also be an opportunity to share your research interests with others.
Our SIG brings together researchers, educators, practitioners and students working across a wide range of areas relating to literacy and language. Whether your interests include language development, multilingualism, literacy practices, digital literacies, literacy education or issues of equity and inclusion, we hope this event will provide a welcoming space to exchange ideas, share experiences and make meaningful connections across our community.
During this one-hour session, there will be opportunities for informal introductions, networking and conversations about members’ research interests, current projects and emerging priorities. We are also keen to hear your thoughts on how the SIG can support your interests and professional development, and what kinds of events, conversations and collaborative opportunities you would like us to explore in the future.
Whether you are a longstanding SIG member or have only recently joined, we would love to see you there! Come along to meet fellow members, discover shared interests, explore possibilities for collaboration and help shape the future activities of our SIG. We look forward to welcoming you in early 2027!
